What Is Permanent LED Channel Lighting?
Permanent lighting uses a slim aluminum channel system mounted along your roofline, soffit, or architectural features. Individual LED nodes sit inside the channel and produce any color or pattern you choose from a smartphone app.
Once installed, the system stays in place year-round. You activate it when you want, change colors for each holiday or event, and turn it off when not in use. No installation crews. No storage. No annual setup.

Permanent Lighting FAQs
- Permanent lighting is a thin LED channel installed once along your roofline, eaves, soffits, or other architectural features. It is designed to disappear during the day. You control it from a smartphone app, so you can run warm white for the holidays, orange for Halloween, scarlet and gray for an OSU game, or blue and gold for graduation. Installed once, used 365 days a year.
- Permanent installs are best done in dry weather, so we book the bulk of these from April through September. We can install later in the year but lake-effect snow and freezing temperatures slow the work down. If you want it ready before the holidays, book by early September at the latest.
- They are built for it. The LED diodes and channel housings are rated for full outdoor exposure including UV in summer, freeze-thaw cycles through fall and spring, and the heaviest lake-effect snow loads in winter. The system has a multi-year warranty and we service it locally.
