Serving Greater Cleveland & Northeast Ohio
Northeast Ohio Lighting Partners designs and installs professional holiday and permanent LED lighting across the Cleveland metro, with deep coverage in the west-side lakefront suburbs, the Heights communities, and the historic downtown corridors of Chagrin Falls and Hudson.
One Standard of Work Across Northeast Ohio
We are a locally operated franchise serving northeast Ohio with the backing of the Lighting Partners national network. That means crews who know lake-effect conditions, slate roofs, historic facade requirements, and the brutal winter variables that come off Erie, paired with commercial-grade supply chain and product engineering.
Whether you are on a lakefront estate in Avon Lake, a historic Tudor in Shaker Heights, or managing a Class A office portfolio in Solon, the installation standard does not change. Same commercial-grade clips, same cold-rated LED, same in-season service model.

Northeast Ohio Communities We Serve
Organized by sub-region. Each area has its own architecture and climate considerations, and our crews know all of them.
West Side & Lake Erie Suburbs
Our Home Market
Westlake, Avon, and the Lake Erie shoreline are our home market. The combination of lakefront estates, upscale residential in Bay Village, and the Crocker Park commercial corridor makes this one of the most active lighting markets in northeast Ohio. Lake-effect weather demands commercial-grade installation - we built our clip and wiring standard around what Erie winters actually do to lights.
Westlake
Full coverage. Crocker Park commercial corridor, Crocker Road residential, and lakefront estates. Our busiest market.
Avon
Growing residential community and the Avon Commons commercial district. Permanent LED is popular with new-construction homes.
Avon Lake
Lakefront properties with direct Erie exposure. We use wind-rated clips designed for high-load conditions.
Bay Village
Established residential on the lakefront. Classic warm-white holiday installs and growing permanent LED demand.
Shaker Heights & East Side Estates
Historic & Estate Homes
The east side Heights communities are some of the most architecturally significant residential areas in the country. Slate roofs, historic trim, and century-old facades require non-invasive installation techniques. We specialize in clips designed for slate and original wood trim with no nails, no staples, no damage. Beachwood adds luxury residential and the Beachwood Place commercial corridor.
Shaker Heights
Historic Tudors, Colonials, and Art Deco estates. Slate-safe and historic-facade installs. Consistent re-booking year over year.
Beachwood
Luxury residential and the Beachwood Place commercial corridor. Estate-scale residential and corporate campus programs.
Pepper Pike
Estate properties on large lots. Full-property programs covering roofline, landscape trees, and features.
Rocky River
West-side established residential with a walkable downtown. Strong holiday demand from long-term homeowners.
Chagrin Falls & Hudson Corridor
Historic Downtowns
Chagrin Falls and Hudson are historic downtown communities with distinctive architecture and strong civic identity around the holiday season. Retail districts here want coordinated programs that draw regional visitors. We have worked alongside village administrators and historical commissions on both Main Streets, and we understand the permitting and facade-preservation requirements in both communities.
Chagrin Falls
Historic Main Street retail district and the Falls residential neighborhood. Coordinated holiday programs that draw regional visitors.
Hudson
Colonial Revival architecture on Hudson Green. Works with historical commission on non-invasive installs. National register properties.
Solon
Aurora Road office park corridor and Solon residential. Multi-building commercial contracts and residential estates.
Mentor
East-side residential and Mentor-on-the-Lake lakefront properties. Permanent LED growing in established family neighborhoods.
South Side & Greater Metro
Outlying Coverage
Strongsville, Lakewood, and the broader Cleveland metro round out our service area. Lakewood is the most densely residential market we serve - small lots but tight, highly visible rooflines that respond well to pro installation. Strongsville adds large residential lots with mature evergreens ideal for tree wrapping. For larger commercial and portfolio projects we travel throughout northeast Ohio.
Strongsville
Large residential lots with mature landscaping. Roofline, tree wrapping, and driveway accents across established subdivisions.
Lakewood
Dense near-west-side residential. Narrow lots, high street visibility, strong appetite for pro holiday installs.
Medina
South-county residential and historic downtown square. Travel available for larger commercial projects.
Broadview Heights
South-side residential community. Permanent LED growing for new construction and established homes alike.

Lake Erie Climate & Install Notes
Lake-effect snow off Lake Erie hits the east side harder than the west, with heavy accumulation possible from late November through February. Holiday installs run October through early December. Takedown windows open in January and run through February.
Service Area FAQs
- NE Ohio Lighting Partners serves the entire Greater Cleveland area with specific expertise in east side installations. Communities east of downtown receive significantly more lake-effect snow accumulation due to prevailing wind patterns pushing moisture off Lake Erie. This asymmetry means your outdoor lighting system needs mounting hardware and wire routing designed for heavier snow loads and ice buildup. Our installation crews account for drift patterns around your home and position fixtures where snow accumulation is less likely to bury or damage them. We also select fixtures rated for the harsher conditions common in eastern Cuyahoga and Lake County communities. Request a site evaluation to discuss how your property's specific exposure affects fixture placement.
- The lake-effect snow asymmetry across Northeast Ohio directly impacts outdoor lighting maintenance and installation timing. Mentor and eastern suburbs sit directly in the primary lake-effect snow band, receiving materially more accumulation than western communities like Lakewood. Cold air traveling across Lake Erie picks up moisture and deposits it heavily once it reaches land on the eastern shore. NE Ohio Lighting Partners factors this geographic reality into every installation. For eastern clients, we prioritize completing holiday lighting installations earlier in October before heavy snow arrives. We also recommend more robust mounting systems and position transformers in protected locations to ensure reliable operation throughout winter.
- October represents the ideal installation window for Northeast Ohio outdoor lighting projects. Ground conditions remain workable for buried cable runs, and moderate temperatures allow proper sealing of connections before winter. NE Ohio Lighting Partners schedules October installations with awareness that eastern communities face earlier heavy snow risk than western areas. We typically recommend booking by early October for east side properties to ensure completion before lake-effect season intensifies in November. Western clients have slightly more flexibility. A typical residential landscape lighting project requires one to three days depending on scope. Holiday lighting installations also begin in October to avoid working in snow and freezing conditions.
- Westlake and Willoughby represent the west and east lake-effect zones that shape how NE Ohio Lighting Partners approaches installations. Willoughby receives materially more snow accumulation due to its position in the primary lake-effect band, requiring more robust fixture mounting and strategic placement away from drift zones. Westlake installations can use standard specifications in most cases. Soil conditions also differ, with eastern clay soils requiring different trenching approaches than western areas. For slate and tile roof homes common in both communities, our attachment methods remain consistent, using specialized non-penetrating systems regardless of location. We evaluate each property individually while applying regional knowledge about weather exposure and ground conditions.
