Drive time from our Westlake office: roughly 40-45 minutes east. Chagrin Falls is the far end of our east-side route and gets dedicated route weeks in season - we plan full days here rather than single-job trips.

Historic downtown means material-first attachment. Main Street's building stock is largely original brick, stone, and period woodwork with detailed cornices and transoms. Nothing gets stapled, nailed, or glued to any of it. Attachment is planned around the material, and where a surface should not be touched, we route the run differently and explain why rather than forcing a modern clip system onto a facade that long predates it.

Block-level coordination is worth more here than an individual storefront. On a destination downtown, one design across multiple storefronts - consistent color temperature, consistent run heights, consistent awning and transom treatment - makes the whole street read as intentional. That is a bigger win for every business on the block than any one of them going their own way. We can coordinate the design and phase the installs.

Village residential. Chagrin Falls homes are older, often with complex rooflines, slate and tile in places, and mature trees. Same standard as Shaker Heights: attachment matched to material, run measured individually, nothing forced.

This is snowbelt-adjacent - the calendar is tight. Lake-effect snow off Lake Erie hits the east side and the snowbelt hardest, and Chagrin Falls is on the wrong end of that. October through early December, and we mean early.

Permanent lighting on a historic Chagrin Falls building

This is the strongest permanent-lighting argument on a historic property, and it is not about cost.

A seasonal install means ladders and lifts touching original brick, stone, and period cornices twice a year, every year, indefinitely. A permanent LED channel installed once under the cornice or eave ends that cycle. Fewer hands on the original material, once instead of twice a year, permanently.

The channel also disappears in daylight, which on a historic Main Street facade matters a great deal - the building stays the thing you see, and the lighting only appears after dark. For a downtown business it additionally removes the annual seasonal line item and gives you a facade you can re-color for the holidays, a village event, or a sidewalk sale from a phone rather than by booking a crew.
