When should I book holiday lighting in Rocky River or Bay Village?

September or early October. We install October through early December. Lake-effect snow can arrive in late November, and lakefront properties also have the wind factor - we want to be doing exposed-elevation work in decent weather, not fighting a north wind off Erie in December. The calendar fills front-to-back.

Will lake wind pull the lights loose?

Not if the install accounts for it, which is the point of doing it professionally on a lakefront property. On exposed elevations we tighten clip spacing, cut runs to minimize unsupported strand, and seal every connection against driven snow and rain. We use commercial-grade LED and clips rated for wind and snow load, not retail-box product. If a storm does knock something loose mid-season, in-season service is included and we come out.

My house is older with original trim and a slate roof section. Can you work with that?

Yes, and it is common in these two communities. Nothing is stapled, nailed, or glued to anything. Attachment is all-clip and matched to the material - and on slate, tile, or original woodwork we adjust method rather than forcing a standard shingle-clip system onto it. We walk every attachment point with you before starting, and if a surface should not be attached to, we route around it and tell you why.

How much does it cost here?

Priced on linear footage, roof height and pitch, number of separate runs, and scope beyond the roofline. Older complex rooflines and significant tree work land higher than a simple roofline-only install. We quote after a roughly twenty-minute on-site measure.

Do you take the lights down in January?

Yes, included. Takedown runs January into February and your labeled strands are stored at our facility until next season. Nobody in your household needs to be on a north-facing lakefront roof in the winter, which is the actual point.

Do you serve Lakewood and Fairview Park too?

Yes - Rocky River, Bay Village, Lakewood, Fairview Park, North Olmsted, Westlake, and Avon Lake are all on the same west-side route from our Westlake office. Being local is why service response out here is measured in days rather than weeks.

Is permanent lighting better on a lakefront home specifically?

There is a genuine technical argument for it here. A permanent fixture sits in a channel under the eave rather than as a strand along the exposed roof edge, which on a property with open Lake Erie exposure is meaningfully better protected. Add that nobody ever climbs a north-facing roof again, and that warm white keeps the house looking finished through a long grey winter, and it is a strong fit on this stretch of the shore.
