When should I schedule holiday lighting in Avon?

September or early October. We install October through early December and lake-effect snow can arrive in late November. Larger Avon elevations with multiple gables and dormers take longer per house than a simple roofline, so bigger jobs get slotted earlier in our calendar. A September call gets you your preferred week.

My front elevation has four gables and a lot of dormers. Is that a problem?

No - it is what makes the finished house look expensive. It does mean more measuring, more separate cuts, and real attention at the plane transitions, which is where a fast install shows. We measure every run individually on the walkthrough, and the quote reflects your actual elevation rather than a per-foot average.

Will you attach anything to my stone veneer or cast columns?

No. All-clip attachment to shingle, gutter, and fascia only. Nothing gets stapled, nailed, or glued to stone, cast stone, or finished trim. We show you where the attachment points land on the walkthrough, and if a run would require touching a surface it shouldn't, we route it differently.

Is Avon Lake different from Avon for an install?

Yes, genuinely. Avon Lake has older housing stock, mature trees, and open northern exposure to Lake Erie - so we design for wind on exposed elevations (tighter clip spacing, shorter unsupported spans, sealed connections) and match attachment to older materials rather than assuming a standard shingle system. Avon is mostly newer construction with big busy elevations, where the work is in the measuring and the plane transitions. Same standards, different problems.

Can you wrap the columns and do the entry garland?

Yes, and on a big Avon front elevation we usually suggest it. A roofline alone on a large two-story can read top-heavy; column wraps, lit garland over the door, and matching wreaths bring the eye down to the entry and finish the composition. Quoted as separate items so you can choose.

How much does it cost?

Priced on linear footage, roof height and pitch, the number of separate runs, and extras like columns, garland, wreaths, and trees. Complex elevations cost more because they take longer to install correctly. We quote after a roughly twenty-minute on-site measure.

Do you take the lights down and store them?

Yes, both, included. Takedown runs January into February. Your labeled strands come back to our facility and stay until next season, so year two is a re-hang and nothing takes up space in your garage.

Do you serve North Ridgeville and Sheffield too?

Yes. Avon, Avon Lake, North Ridgeville, Sheffield, and Sheffield Lake are all on our west-side route from Westlake, along with Bay Village, Rocky River, and Lorain.
